Fishing Reports
I'm going to try and keep this as updated as possible, but I'm much more active on my C-Legs Sportfishing Facebook page. For those that don't have FB, this is just a taste of the action, entertainment and wonderful times we have on the Mornin Glory.
Dec 31st Friday was less than idea to put it easy. Fog in the dark to the bar, then fog again basically all day with visibility most in the 50 to 200yds combined with winds and a 2 to 4 occasional 5ft chop made driving a PITA. We had a big bite right off the bat, suspect a blue marlin, then not another touch until late morning with a nice yellow. Fleet up north had nothing so we stayed south where we hoped to find a school of blackfin. Finally about 1pm crew and I had enough and came home. Thankfully once north of the hot water she laid down and made a nice ride home. Great crew who tuffed it out under poor conditions. Thankful for what we had. Still not a bad way to spend the last day of 2021. Happy New Year eveyone.
Dec 18th ran a makeup trip with 3 guys, Ed, Craig and Harrison. Good crew to fish with and highly enjoyed the day. We left and got on the fish right away, one of those bites that I love. We never had a real break in the action, 1 at a time, as soon as we got that one iced down we'd have another hooked up, by 1230 we had more than enough and ran home happy with what we had, before the afternoon winds started kicking.
